Upper Yarraman, Queensland

Upper Yarraman is a rural locality in the Toowoomba Region, Queensland, Australia.

[citation needed] The name of Yarraman is derived from the aboriginal word meaning horse.

The Hotel was used for the Ministerial Party Luncheon the day after the railway opening in Yarraman in 1913.

[citation needed] The Upper Yarraman Farmers' Hall, was originally the Phoenix Picture Theatre in Blackbutt.

The hall was dismantled and re-erected at its current location in 1945, on a piece of land donated by Mr. Horace Lougheed.
