Opened in 1988, it now features Kohl's, Belk, Homegoods, and Dick's Sporting Goods as its major anchor stores.
[4] Built by Crown American, it originally featured Hess's, J. C. Penney, Sears, and Leggett (now Belk).
In response to this, PREIT, which bought most of the Crown American portfolio, renovated the center throughout the 21st century.
A vacated movie theater was also turned into a food court and a satellite campus of New River Community College.
[8] After J.C.Penney closed its store at the mall in 2017, the space was renovated to accommodate a new Ulta, Homegoods, and Kirklands.
