Urupsky District

Urupsky District (Russian: Уру́пский райо́н; Karachay-Balkar: Уруп район, Urup rayon; Kabardian: Уэрп къедзыгъуэ; Abaza: Уарп район) is an administrative[1] and a municipal[4] district (raion), one of the ten in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, Russia.

The area of the district is 2,782 square kilometers (1,074 sq mi).
