Uvinza is an administrative ward and town in Uvinza District of Kigoma Region in Tanzania.

The ward covers an area of 1,502 km2 (580 sq mi), and has an average elevation of 1,073 m (3,520 ft).

In 2016 the Tanzania National Bureau of Statistics report there were 24,122 people in the ward, from 35,231 in 2012.
