Vaman Malhar Joshi (21 January 1882 – 20 July 1943) was a Marathi writer from Bombay Presidency, British India.
Joshi was born in a Deshastha Brahmin family[1] on 21 January 1882, in the town of Tale in the Konkan region of Maharashtra.
[2] After finishing his high school education in 1900, he studied at Deccan College in Pune to receive his bachelor's and master's degrees in Philosophy in 1904 and 1906, respectively.
After release from the prison, Joshi worked for two years as the editor of Lokamanya Tilak's daily Kesari (केसरी).
Joshi presided over Marathi Sahitya Sammelan held at Margao, Goa in 1930.
