Vanclans (French pronunciation: [vɑ̃klɑ̃]) is a former commune in the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in eastern France.
It is nestled between two hills at the foot of the first slopes of evergreens.
Sir Guillaume de Cicon was from Cicon near Vanclans, the meagre remains of the family castle sit above Vanclans.

On 1 January 2016, Athose, Chasnans, Hautepierre-le-Châtelet, Nods, Rantechaux and Vanclans merged becoming one commune called Les Premiers-Sapins.
