Vandervoort, Arkansas

Vandervoort is a town in Polk County, Arkansas, United States.

The place is named in honor of the mother of an important early-20th-century railway financier, Jan de Goeijen.

21.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 14.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

There were 13.9% of families and 17.7% of the population living below the poverty line, including 13.2% of under eighteens and 14.3% of those over 64.
