[1] He was an elected member of the National Assembly of Madagascar for Vohemar Suarez from 1958 to 1964.

[2] He was an elected member of the National Assembly of Madagascar for Majunga from 1964 to 1972, and mayor of Mandritsara from 1964 to 1976.

[3] He was one of the five appointed Vice Presidents of Philibert Tsiranana from 1971 to 1972.

[4] He lost his political position when President Tsiranana was effectively ousted in October 1972.

From 1979 to 1984, he was general manager of Drogueries Générales de Tananarive.
