The Mediterranean climate is heavily influenced by the Atlantic Ocean.
The winters are mild, with little precipitation, but elevated atmospheric humidity, with temperatures starting at 12 °C (54 °F).
In summer, the cool dry air, owing to the winds from the north, maintain temperatures around 20 °C (68 °F).
