Vineet Nayyar

[1] An accomplished leader, he led several organizations across industries, creating high performance teams and successful businesses.

In a career spanning over 40 years, he worked with the Government, international multilateral agencies and the corporate sector (both public and private).

[2] He had a master's degree in development economics from Williams College, Massachusetts.

In 1977, he was deputed to the World Bank where he worked for over 10 years in its energy and infrastructure divisions.

[3] Vineet Nayyar was married to Reva, a retired IAS officer from the 1968 batch from the Haryana cadre.
