Vinkenbuurt is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Overijssel.

It is part of the municipality of Ommen, and lies about 18 km south of Hoogeveen.

The romantic explanation is "neighbourhood with chaffinchs" or it might mean "neighbourhood with bad peat".
