Vinkivtsi (Ukrainian: Віньківці) is a rural settlement in Khmelnytskyi Raion, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, western Ukraine.
In 1927, it was renamed Zatonsk (Ukrainian: Затонськ) in honor of Volodymyr Zatonsky, a member of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR.
The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Khmelnytskyi Oblast to three.
[6][7] Until 26 January 2024, Vinkivtsi was designated urban-type settlement.
On this day, a new law entered into force which abolished this status, and Vinkivtsi became a rural settlement.
