Viola reichei is a perennial herb, which can range from 4–20 cm tall.
This species leaves are green and can be either orbicular, reniform, ovate or elliptic in shape.
[4] It is also frequently found in Southern Argentina,[1] in the provinces of Neuquén, Río Negro, Chubut, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego.
[5] Viola reichei be found in temperate forests where it grows in shade of trees and other vegetation.
[6][7] It is also known to grow on steep slopes and south facing mountainous areas.
