Volgenau School of Engineering

Based in the Fairfax campus of George Mason University in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Volgenau School offers programs at the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. levels.

A portion of the building is reserved as lease space for companies who want to work closely with faculty and students.

There are currently five areas of Concentrations within the IST Department: Information Security, Database Mining and Programming, Networking and Telecommunications, and Web Development and Multimedia.

Students may conduct their doctoral research under the supervision of any eligible faculty member of any of the school's departments.

This newly approved program is offered by the Department of Systems Engineering and Operations Research.
