Volodymyrets (Ukrainian: Володимирець; Russian: Влaдимирец; Polish: Włodzimierzec) is a rural settlement in Rivne Oblast (province) in western Ukraine.

[3] The settlement is located at the confluence of the Styr and Horyn rivers.

[4] Volodymyrets was first founded in ancient Kievan Rus' times,[4] and it acquired the status of an urban-type settlement in 1957.

[2] On 26 January 2024, a new law entered into force which abolished this status, and Volodymyrets became a rural settlement.
