W. Sheffield Cowles

William Sheffield Cowles (October 6, 1898 – May 2, 1986) was an American politician.

He served as a Republican member of the Connecticut House of Representatives.

Cowles was born in New York City and was a nephew of President Theodore Roosevelt.

Cowles died May 2, 1986 at his family's home in Farmington, Connecticut,[1][4][2] at the age of 87.
