[1] It was one of the few remaining multiple-span, curved-chord through girder bridges, a type unique to Michigan.
[3] This bridge was a joint product of the Michigan State Highway Department and the St. Clair County Road Commission, with each party paying half.
[2] The Wadhams Road Bridge was 150 feet (46 m) long, and consisted of two 70-foot (21 m) curved chord, concrete through-girder spans.
The bridge was 28 feet (8.5 m) wide, and carried a 22-foot-wide (6.7 m) roadway with concrete girders on each side, serving as railings.
The bridge sat on a solid concrete pier with slightly pointed cutwaters on each end.
