Walshia exemplata is a moth in the family Cosmopterigidae.

It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Maryland, Arkansas, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, South Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana and Florida.

Adults have been recorded on wing from July to September.
