Wausau is a town in Washington County, Florida, United States.

It is part of the Panama City–Panama City Beach, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.1 square miles (2.8 km2), all land.

The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild winters.

As of the 2020 United States census, there were 371 people, 172 households, and 92 families residing in the town.
