As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 1,927 people, 864 households, and 603 families residing in the CDP.

There were 1,178 housing units at an average density of 332.4 per square mile (128.3/km2).

27.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 18.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
