Waverly Township, Cheboygan County, Michigan

The Upper Black River flows northward through the center of the township, entering Black Lake to the north in Grant Township.

There were 182 households, out of which 29.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.3% were married couples living together, 3.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.9% were non-families.

23.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 13.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
