West Bradenton is an unincorporated area and census-designated place (CDP) in Manatee County, Florida, United States.

[2] It is part of the North Port–Bradenton–Sarasota, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.

[5] It is bordered to the east by the city of Bradenton, to the north by the Manatee River, an arm of Tampa Bay, and to the south by Florida State Road 64.

There were 1,772 housing units at an average density of 1,298.3 per square mile (501.3/km2).

19.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
