West Samoset is an unincorporated area and census-designated place (CDP) in Manatee County, Florida, United States.

West Samoset is bordered to the north and northwest by the city of Bradenton, to the east by unincorporated Samoset, and to the west by unincorporated South Bradenton.

Florida State Road 45 (1st Street) forms the western edge of the CDP.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.3 square miles (3.4 km2), all land.

23.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
