West Goshen was a census-designated place (CDP) in West Goshen Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States.

At the 2000 census there were 8,472 people, 3,310 households, and 2,191 families living in the CDP.

There were 3,376 housing units at an average density of 1,061.5 per square mile (409.8/km2).
