As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 891 people, 323 households, and 248 families residing in the town.
There were 442 housing units at an average density of 12.3 per square mile (4.7/km2).
17.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
The station is one of the vestiges of the Rural Radio Network and, since the 1980s, has primarily been used as a rimshot broadcaster attempting to reach the Buffalo radio market.
