The White Memorial Foundation is an organization dedicated to environmental conservation located in Litchfield, Connecticut.
Two camping areas are located on White Memorial property, one at Point Folly on Bantam Lake, and a second on Windmill Hill near the Conservation Center.
There are approximately 35 miles of trail on the property, which can be used for walking, running, biking, horseback riding, and cross-country-skiing.
[2] The White Memorial Foundation owns large areas of wetland and lakefront to prevent overdevelopment and subsequent loss of biodiversity.
These large tracts of wetland juxtaposed with nearby uplands create a unique mosaic of habitats that are home to a variety of different plants and animals.
