Wildlife Lane

Wildlife Lane is a street and apparent neighborhood in Hernando County, Florida.

It is also located along the southern edge of the Croom Tract of the Withlacoochee State Forest.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 254 people, 220 households, and 245 families residing in the area.

The racial makeup of the area was 98.2% White, .50% African American, 1.2% Native American, .1% Asian There were 220 households, out of which 33.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 39.9% were married couples living together, 14.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 43.1% were non-families.

38.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 21.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
