Wilhelm August Streitberg (23 February 1864 – 19 August 1925) was a German Indo-Europeanist, specializing in Germanic languages.
Together with Karl Brugmann, he founded the Indogermanische Forschungen journal.
He studied Germanistics and Indo-European philology at Münster Academy and at the universities of Berlin and Leipzig, receiving his habilitation for Indo-European linguistics at Münster in 1889.
In 1920, he returned to Leipzig, where he taught classes up until his death in 1925.
