William Anthony (September 25, 1934 – December 24, 2022) was an American painter and illustrator.
[1] While attending Yale, he took a series of art classes, including one taught by Josef Albers.
[2] After graduating from Yale University, he went to California, where his family had moved and attended classes at the San Francisco Art Institute.
From 1977 to 1978 he created illustrations for Interview and published another book called Bible Stories.
[4] Anthony's work has recently been shown at the Christopher Henry Gallery in New York City.
