Sir John William Nott-Bower, KCVO (20 March 1849 – 4 February 1939) was a British officer and Commissioner of the City of London Police.
He was educated at Cheltenham and Sandhurst, and served in the army in the King's Regiment.
He was later appointed a captain of the 5th (Militia) Battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment.
[3] In March 1902 he was elected Commissioner of Police of the City of London,[3] serving as such until 1925.
Their son was Sir John Nott-Bower (1892–1972), who later headed the London Metropolitan Police.
