William Penn Taylor (October 25, 1790 – June 18, 1863) was a nineteenth-century congressman from Virginia.
Born in Fredericksburg, Virginia, October 25, 1790, the son of Congressman John Taylor.
[1] He held several local political offices in Caroline County, Virginia, including as a delegate to the Virginia Constitutional Convention of 1829-1830 where he served alongside Robert B. Taylor from Norfolk, a Brigadier General in the state militia.
[3] He was elected an Anti-Jacksonian to the United States House of Representatives in 1832, serving from 1833 to 1835 and being unsuccessful for reelection.
