Withania frutescens

Withania frutescens is a species of plant in the family Solanaceae.

It is native to the western Mediterranean region, including southern Iberia (in Portugal and south and southeastern Spain), the Balearic Islands, Northwest Africa (including Morocco and western Algeria) and the Canary Islands.

It flowers from May to June and loses its leaves in summer.

The berries are greenish and measure between 7 and 8 mm in diameter.
