Wittenmoor is a village and a former municipality in the district of Stendal, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.

The village Wittenmoor is located in the south of the Altmark, on the northern edge of the Colbitz-Letzlinger Heide.

The area is slightly hilly, towards the southwest, the wooded terrain rises to 128 m (419.95 ft) above Mean Sea Level.

On 30 September 1928, the Estate Districts of Wintermoor were united with the rural community of Wittenmoor.

This agreement was approved by the county lower municipal supervisor and entered into force on January 1, 2010.
