Women and the Australian Church

[5] Its main purpose was to change the understanding of the role of women in the Australian church and society by raising awareness of Christian feminist issues.

At this conference Good Samaritan Sister, Sonia Wagner gave the keynote address, speaking on the topic of Catholic feminism and reflecting on the changing role of women in the Australian church.

[12] Angela Coco completed an honours thesis at the University of Queensland in 1993 on the history of WATAC, titled Women and the Australian Church: Project or Proclamation?

"[14] Australian historian Anne O'Brien, also included the story of WATAC in her book God's Willing Workers: Women and Religion in Australia, which was published in 2005.

[15] Bernice Moore wrote a history of WATAC in an article published in the final issue of Australian feminist theology journal Women-Church in 2007.
