The Woodville Lacrosse Club was founded in 1899[1] and is located in the north western suburbs of Adelaide.
[3] Port Adelaide had additional success in 1931[4] and 1932,[5] before having a golden era in the 1950s, featuring in 10 of 12 grand finals and winning four of them.
There was a 39-year drought before success returned to the Club, this time as Woodville, with 8 premierships in 11 years including five in a row from 1998 to 2002.
