So far, five people have achieved this double honor: Toshiaki Kawada, Villano III, Antonino Rocca, Jack Brisco, and Jackie Sato.
To gain membership in the hall, potential inductees must receive 60% support on the ballots from their geographic region.
Since voting began in 1998, nineteen candidates have been inducted in their first year of eligibility; the most recent first-ballot inductees were Beauty Pair in 2023.
