Xanthichthys mento, the redtail triggerfish, blue-throat triggerfish, or crosshatch triggerfish, is a species of triggerfish from the Pacific.

It inhabits outer-reef areas at depths of 6–131 m (20–430 ft), and feeds on zooplankton.
