Yuengling Bicentennial Park and Gardens

The original water source for the company was a hillside spring several blocks west of the brewery.

[3] In 2002, Richard "Dick" Yuengling Jr. donated the land and spring to the city of Pottsville.

[3] Yuengling Jr. had been approached by the Lasting Legacy for Pottsville Foundation and the Bicentennial Committee to start discussions about the donation.

"[4] When the renovations were completed in the Spring of 2004, the park featured footpaths, wooden bridges, gazebos, waterfalls and gardens.

[4] The price of creating the park was approximately $350,000,[5] and local company Prodesign Plus helped work on design and construction.
