He was part of the Japan men's national volleyball team.

He competed with the national team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.

[3] He played with Osaka Blazers Sakai in 2005–2006 season [ja], then transferred to Italian club one season and backed to Sakai again until 2017.

He also participated in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo in beach volleyball.
