Zdobnice (German: Stiebnitz) is a municipality and village in Rychnov nad Kněžnou District in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic.
The highest point is the mountain Tetřevec at 1,044 metres (3,425 ft) above sea level.
[3] According to the parish chronicle, the village already existed in 1500, but the year could not be verified by reliable sources.
In 1569, it was acquired by Emperor Rudolf II, who started massive logging here and the area was settled by lumberjacks.
