Zhao entered the entertainment industry by co-hosting the variety program Huo Xing Qing Bao Ju (Mars Intelligence Agency).
Then she played the lead role in the romantic comedy Please Feel at Ease Mr. Ling, and starred in the period drama A Female Student Arrives at the Imperial College.
