Zonitoides hoffmanni is a European species of small, air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Gastrodontidae.
(Original description in Latin) The shell has a broad umbilicus.
The body whorl is rounded, not bent anteriorly, excavated below, gradually reaching almost to the umbilicus.
The aperture is slightly oblique, emarginate-subcircular, with removed edges.
