The 2001–02 Oklahoma Sooners women's basketball team represented the University of Oklahoma in college basketball during the 2001–02 NCAA Division I women's basketball season.

The Oklahoma Sooners women's basketball team was a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's (NCAA) Big 12 Conference.

The team was led by Sherri Coale in her sixth season as head coach of the Sooners.

The Sooners won the Big 12 regular season and conference tournament championships.

The Sooners advanced to the 2002 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament and lost to UConn in the national title game.
