2022 NCAA Division I FCS football season

The postseason began on November 26, and ended on January 8, 2023, with the 2023 NCAA Division I Football Championship Game at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.

[7] Days before officially joining, on June 24, the school backed out of that plan, recommitting to the Southland Conference.

[8] The FCS again featured a 24-team postseason bracket: 11 teams decided via automatic bids issued to conference champions, and 13 at-large bids; the top eight teams were seeded.
