35th Field Artillery Regiment

The 2d Battalion, 35th Artillery (155mm Howitzer, Self-Propelled) arrived in Vietnam on 17 June 1966 from Fort Carson, Colorado.

A gold color metal and enamel device 1+1⁄8 inches (2.9 cm) in height overall consisting of the shield and crest of the coat of arms.

The shield is red with a diagonal band in gold, representative of Field Artillery and honorable service.

The distinctive unit insignia was originally approved for the 35th Field Artillery Regiment on 1 April 1933.
