The 44th Separate Mechanized Brigade (Ukrainian: 44 окрема механізована бригада) is a brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces formed in 2023.

[2] The brigade has been assigned the military number A4723, and at least one battalion is equipped with Polish-donated BMP-1s.

[4] The brigade entered its first combat mission in the Bakhmut area, where on 9 August 2023, the commander of the 3rd Battalion, Major Oleksij Šedul'ko, was killed.

[5] In September it was transferred north, together with the 42nd Mechanized Brigade to reinforce Ukrainian defenses in the Kupiansk region.
