Adam Braver (born 1963, in Berkeley, California) is an American author of historical fiction.
Crows Over the Wheatfield (Harper Perennial, 2006) told the story of a renowned Van Gogh scholar struggling to deal with her guilt after she accidentally kills a young boy in a car accident.
His forthcoming novel, "Rejoice the Head of Paul McCartney" takes place in 1969 following the aftermath of the disappearance of Paul McCartney's head from a billboard on the Sunset Strip, and how that moment of desecrating the symbol of an era affects the lives of the characters over the course of several decades.
His work has been anthologized in "The Lincoln Anthology" (The Library of America, 2008), "Breakthrough" (Peter Lang Publishers, 2007), and "No Near Exit: Writers Select Their Favorite Work From Post Road Magazine" (Dzanc Books, 2010).
