One of the All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), It was established in 2018.

An AIIMS in Raebareli was cleared in 2009[2] as "Phase-II" of the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) initiative.

[3] It operates under the mentorship of the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER)[7] with the director Prof. Jagat Ram.

The main campus is spread into different locations containing the OPD block, main hospital block, medical college, administrative wing, hostels, faculty and staff quarters.

AIIMS Raebareli's Residential complex, staff quarters, hostels, mess building, hospital, medical college etc.
