Kreidersville Covered Bridge, built in 1839, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

[4] Pennsylvania Route 329 is the only numbered highway traversing Allen Township.

As of the 2000 census,[5] there were 2,630 people, 1,001 households, and 805 families residing in the township.

14.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

Allen Township is served by the Northampton Area School District.
