Andre Smith (tight end)

Andre Phillip Smith (born September 26, 1988) is a former American football tight end in the National Football League for the Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns.

As a senior, he was known as a blocking tight end, but was still able to start 12 out of 14 games, while posting 20 receptions (fourth on the team) for 195 yards and 5 touchdowns.

He finished his college career with 25 starts out of 54 games, 39 receptions for 438 yards and 7 touchdowns.

Smith was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Chicago Bears after the 2011 NFL draft on July 26.
